New Earth Soils & Compost Closes Record Year & Begins Renewal of Applied Strategic Plan
We are thrilled to work with companies and organizations like New Earth, who not only complete our Applied Strategic Planning process, but then execute the ASP protocol to achieve breakthrough growth. We began our work with NE in 2011with an Organizational Assessment identifying key strategic issues and organizational elements that might stand in the way of progress as well as those strengths that could be employed to achieve NE's best possible future.
Over a period of about six months we held three ASP Retreats with key leader/stakeholders of NE. At the same time we created Shadow Teams that allowed the ASP Committee members to take back our work to everyone else in the company for their feedback and suggestions. Some very good ideas came from the front line, plus all were honored to be asked to help create the best future for the company. One reason traditional strategic planning (which we do not do) doesn't work is that the plan tends to come down from on high - with little ownership of the people who will actually do the work.
In our recent Organizational Assessment interviews for this round of ASP several reported that - "The process of ASP really brought the entire company much closer together - greatly increasing teamwork and trust. That was an outcome we hadn't expected that was definitely a key to our great success." We are excited to renew New Earth's Applied Strategic Plan beginning this week.
